I generally use Firefox to browse online because of all the add-ons and customization available, but I have appreciated Safari’s ability to view PDF files in the browser. It can be slightly annoying to click a PDF file just to view it and have it download onto your computer before you can look at it, whether you wanted to download it or not. A while back when I had a Windows computer, I easily found a PDF plugin, but when I first switched to Mac I could not find one. I recently came across a plugin that allows one to view PDFs within the browser in Firefox (and it actually currently works on Snow Leopard, unlike another major PDF plugin I found). If you’re running Firefox on OS X, give the Firefox PDF Plugin a try if you haven’t already.

Yeah, that’s a great plugin, I’ve been using it for some time. Now if only there were a version for Chrome…
