Last week, an evening with a short random power outage offered an opportunity to light my wife’s gigantic candleholder on our wall. I pulled out my tripod and put the D5100′s low light shooting ability to the test. After trying various angles and exposures, this came out as one of my favorite shots. The combination of shadows and light create a fascinating image.
